What it really means to bring it home…
AMF is back on July 11. A little funk, a little roots, a LOT of good time.

APRIL & FRIENDS
April & Friends kick things off with the music April was raised on (and that music runs deep). No stranger to the Aiken music scene, April & Friends grew out of Amick Junction, a band led by April’s father Bruce Amick. April pulled everything she knows from sitting inside that legacy. Classic country, a little light rock and southern rock, gospel, and the kind of songs that stir up a good memory for everybody in the crowd.
While the “friends” part of the group rotates, you can expect Ronnie Davis on bass with Ben Newman and Bob Strickland joining on vocals and guitar. Classic country at its core, a little southern rock, and maybe a beach song or two for old times’ sake. In April’s words, they like to keep things upbeat without being a “ballad salad.”
As Aiken as it gets, this one’s really going to feel like home.

THE SOULFEATHERS
South Carolina’s own County Funk group is FINALLY getting their AMF moment after last year’s rain-out kept them off the stage. Born and bred in Clemson, The Soulfeathers have been a fixture at spots like The Esso Club and Fireforge Crafted Beer, playing festivals across the state including Fall for Greenville and Rock the Ranch.
Their sound is the kind that refuses to sit still. Roots, rock, blues, jazz, funk, soul…all blended into something that’s uniquely them. Mostly originals, a few covers, all delivered with the open, laidback energy that’s made them a Midlands and Upstate favorite. High-energy and classic South Carolina, their set is built to keep the crowd moving all night.
They’ve been looking forward to this one for a while, and they’re guaranteed to make the night worth it.
Whether you’re looking for a brand-new sound or searching for something that will take you back, Aiken Music Fest will have it on July 11. Don’t miss your chance to catch two incredible groups on the Aiken County Farm Supply Stage at Highfields Event Center!
